Musculoskeletal ultrasound is used by many Sport & Exercise Medicine specialists within the consultation to supplement their clinical assessment and to confirm the diagnosis. This reduces the need for more expensive scans and minimises delays to commencing treatment. Unlike when you go for a scan with a Sonographer or Radiologist, Dr Collins will be able to perform a full musculoskeletal assessment which will then be combined with the ultrasound findings to allow immediate feedback and discussion on further care.

There is no additional fee for diagnostic ultrasound as this is included in the consultation fee.
